Christmas Miracle for Penny

This time of year, we reflect on our blessings and all that we are fortunate enough to have in our lives. As you are aware, there are many people in our community who are going through tough times during the holidays. But sometimes, the people who may need help are also the ones who you work with every day.

As her friend and colleague at Gray-Daniels Nissan Brandon, I created this Go-Fund-Me page for Penny Haynes, a porter at our dealership. Penny is a diligent, hard-working team member who has been with us for the past seven years. Recently, due to some unforeseen circumstances, medical bills and garnishments stemming from those bills, she finds herself without a safe place to stay or a roof over her head this holiday season. Despite these hardships, Penny has not once complained about her situation. It wasn’t until I recently noticed all her worldly possessions packed into her car, and I asked her about her circumstances. She told me what was going on in her life, and I told her I wanted to help.  
 
This holiday, I would like to present Penny with a Christmas miracle and show how caring her Gray-Daniels family can be. We have set up this Go-Fund-Me page to help Penny get back on her feet and back into an apartment for the year where rent will cost approximately $650 a month. As her boss and friend, I will personally help her with the necessary application fees and security deposits to make sure there are no additional hurdles in getting in the way.
