Christmas on Grand Bahama for the Children

This is Ken and Fiona Williams. We are from Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. We are very pleased to announce the “Eh Team’s” next venture. Christmas for the children on Grand Bahama. These children have been severely impacted by Hurricane Dorian. Over the next month we plan to raise funds to purchase new toys. I will personally withdraw all donations in my personal bank account and purchase the toys from Kelly’s True Value hardware in Freeport, Grand Bahama. Lynn Lowe from Kelly’s will assist us with this task.  Our goal would be to purchase 2,500 toys at a budget of $20 each. This will be a double win as it will also help the local economy. We’ve done this before for the West End Primary School after Hurricane Matthew and was a tremendous success. So many happy children who had lost everything after the storm. We are planning to do it again but at a much larger scale. We will be starting with one Primary School and the Children’s Home in Freeport and expand as funds and assistance become available. I know it’s a monumental task, but we don’t really want to leave out any children on Grand Bahama. We are setting up this GoFundMe account for that specific purpose. If anyone wishes to assist our team and work on their own fundraising ideas, please send us a message. I intend to play Santa Clause and Fiona will play Mrs. Clause, but we will need may elves to assist. Let’s bring some smiles to the children of Grand Bahama at Christmas this year!!
