Survival supplies for the homeless of CO. Springs

Every year over 120 homeless individuals die on the streets of Colorado Springs. They succumb to alcohol, drugs, murder, and hypothermia. The People's Church of Colorado Springs is trying to make a difference and save lives. Our volunteers go out once a week into the camps, forming relationships and distributing survival supplies such as socks, candles, sleeping bags, and tents. To raise awareness and money to buy tens and sleeping bags, Michele, the leader of the homeless ministry team, will be sleeping outside December 21 -24. She will be using only the same supplies available to the homeless population. Our goal is to raise $20.000.00. All money raised will go to buying much-needed supplies for the homeless population.
