Christmas Wish for Jada

In life, there are some people who face unimaginable challenges and yet continue to inspire us with their strength, resilience, and determination - even at a young age. One of those people is my niece, Jada.

Jada’s journey has been anything but easy. In December 2018, her world was turned upside down when her beloved mother, Kristen, passed away—just 36 hours after losing her mother (Jada’s mom-mom) to cancer. Before Kristen had the chance to tell her four children about their grandmother’s passing, she was gone, too.

Despite experiencing such immense loss at such a young age, Jada rose above her grief to become an incredible big sister, a stellar student, and a kind-hearted person. Her strength has continued to shine through life’s many trials. Just this past December, Jada experienced another devastating loss—her maternal grandfather, who was an active parental guardian and pivotal figure in her life.

Through it all, Jada has remained focused on her dreams. A proud member of Rancocas Valley Regional High School’s Class of 2023, she is now pursuing her nursing degree at Rowan University. Her goal is to dedicate her life to helping others, just as she has always supported her family and friends with her kindness and generous heart. A characteristic, undoubtedly passed onto her by her mother.

After her grandfather’s passing, Jada began driving his van, which served as her primary transportation to school, work, and other responsibilities. Tragically, the van’s engine recently gave out, leaving her without a vehicle for over 10 months. Since then, she has relied on family and friends to get her where she needs to go, but it’s been a daily challenge.

Jada now has the opportunity to purchase a reliable, newer vehicle that will allow her to regain her independence and continue chasing her dreams. We’re asking for your help to make this Christmas miracle a reality.

The funds raised will go toward purchasing the car and covering annual or monthly insurance payments. Every dollar will directly support Jada’s journey to self-sufficiency and ensure she can continue excelling in school and work.

Jada has endured more loss and hardship than most of us can imagine, yet she remains unwavering in her dedication to her goals and her kind-hearted nature. She deserves this chance to move forward without the burden of unreliable transportation holding her back.

During this holiday season, let’s come together to show Jada the same love and support she has always shown to others. No amount is too small, and every contribution gets us closer to giving this incredible young woman the fresh start she deserves.
