hi friends!
some of you may know I have been communicating with a currently incarcerated person, Jery, for a few months now.
Jery is an openly gay man who has faced violent reprisals in prison due to his sexuality and is currently housed in Segregation. He is permitted out of his cell only 5 hours per week. He has been in SHU for four years. Jery is also hard-of-hearing.
Christmas is coming up and i'd like to be able to put some money on his books so he is able to sustain himself while in prison.
