Christopher and Stephanie Tollett

I have worked with Stephanie Tollett in the Putnam County School System for more than 15 years. She is regarded as an excellent teacher and has always gone above and beyond at Algood Middle School by sponsoring clubs/organizations, coaching, mentoring, etc. Whenever there is a local, national or international disaster or crisis, Stephanie is always the first to organize a fundraiser to help others. It is for this reason I am asking others to help in her family's time of need. Stephanie's husband, Christopher Tollett, 40 of Cookeville, TN, has been diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. They learned this week that it has spread to his lungs and brain. He is in the hospital in Nashville. The plan is to operate and remove the brain tumor. From there he will stay in the hospital for a few days to recover. Then they will meet with oncology to develop a plan to tackle everything else.

Stephanie posted on Facebook: "For those asking about donations you are incredibly kind and we appreciate you. We don't know how long any of this will take or how long Christopher will be out of work so we greatly appreciate your generosity. Any contribution is a blessing that we are incredibly grateful for."
