It’s with a completely and utterly shattered heart that I type this post!
I always hate asking for help. I’ve been a go getter, pay yer way kinda guy for a long time. But right now, I really need help. There is so, so much that goes on in the background of navigating this crazy season of life. Costs, expenses, medical bills, time off work, extra fuel and expenses from traveling back and forth or renting airbnbs to keep the family close to each other. I have no idea what any of this will look like, moving forward. I’m just so grateful for every prayer, well wish and dollar! It is all so helpful and appreciated!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!
On October 16th 2023, my son Christopher, was killed in a devastating car accident! The other driver swerved in front of their vehicle, hitting them head on! His mom, Anna, was driving, Christopher was in the passenger seat seat and his youngest brother was in the back.
Anna is still in the hospital. Both of her arms were broken, along with several spinal fractures. She has had surgery to repair her right arm and we hope she will be having surgery tomorrow to repair her left shoulder. Lucas had bumps and bruises, but his child’s seat really did well in keeping him safe.
Little man, Christopher called for help and was flown to Shamokin Hospital. He sustained internal injuries and despite his fighting and the doctor’s best efforts, our buddy passed soon after arriving at the hospital.
Little man had the best (worst) jokes! He had the best smile and such a contagious laugh! Like me, he had such a broad range of of interests, but his real passions were art, super hero’s and bad jokes and puns! He had a way of brightening every room he ever walked into. And had a way of making people laugh, even in the midst of a wedding reception!
Christopher Andrew, was so super smart. He was so compassionate and just simply wanted everyone to love each other and get along.
You will be missed soooo soooo much, buckaroo! You will never be forgotten! And in honor and memory of you, I will never stop building, creating and dad joking!!
I love you little man! I love you so much!!
In honor, memory and celebration of Chris, his sister and myself are asking that on Friday October 20th, everyone please wear green (his favorite color)!!!
If you could, please post photos!

This way, we can all (Hailie especially), can easily see all the people that love us and are rallying around us with love and prayers!
