Christopher B. Gaffney 1980-2023

My name is Meredith DeSalva-Gaffney, and I am trying to raise money to bring the body of my daughter's father back to Pennsylvania from Florida for a proper funeral. Christopher B. Gaffney, or Chris to everyone around him, was missing for three days prior to being found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Our daughter, Fiona, is just 12-years-old. She is his only child. He has no siblings, no parents. Fiona now must deal with the grief of the unexpected passing of her father, the tragic way that he ended his own life, and now all the red tape of bringing her father back home for a proper viewing, funeral, and burial. As far as we are aware, Chris has no funds for a funeral, and we are doubtful that any life insurance policy will pay out given the cause of death. I will need to travel to Florida to assist in the investigation, sign for evidence, make beginning arrangements there for the transport of Chris's body, and then get him back home. Then in Pennsylvania we will need to make arrangements for a ceremony here.

I am still working on funeral arrangements. It will be a while before we can get Chris out of Florida. Please stay tuned. We would love to have as many people come out, pay their respects to Chris, and support Fiona as possible.
