I am incredibly heartbroken to be writing this, but we recieved the unfortunate and sudden news that my dad, Christopher Basham, has passed away unexpectedly this evening. My father was the most resilient man I've ever met with an unmatched sense of humor and the ability to get up and keep going, no matter the cirumstance. He was outgoing, quickly turning strangers into friends just based off a joke or two. My dad adored his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He loved fooling around with them - whether it was playfully teasing them, watching movies, or doing some sort of silly WWE-style wrestling tournament type-move on them - he had a blast and he made sure that they did too. My dad has been through a lot - and I mean A LOT. His durability was sometimes nervewrecking as we all watched him push through each tough obstacle - but he did it and he did it with ease. Whenever I met someone new from him, all they had was amazing things to say. It was very obvious he adored his children, too. Everyone would always say he couldn't shut up about his daughter or his late son, Eli. He could blabber for days about his loved ones if you let him! If my father had anything, it was a huge, tough heart.
With the sudden passing of my dad, our family is very unprepared and are quickly needing to make arrangements. Because of this, we are kindly asking for donations to cover the expense of his services so we can lay his kind soul to rest.
Thank you.
