Hi everyone,
My son Christopher lost his right leg on Friday, November 4th. He lost his leg up to his hip and will be in recovery for quite some time. He has battled a tumor in his groin area for a large portion of his life. After proton therapy for the tumor over this past year, he got a serious infection which lead to sepsis. He had to have immediate surgery after a hemorrhage one morning. He had a 10 hour procedure to save his leg after the tumor was removed and 7 blood transfusions. After three weeks in the hospital his blood clots got worse and his leg was not able to be saved.
My son has been the prime supporter of his family up until the recent months. His job does not provide disability and he has a wife and 2 sons ages (8 months and 3 years) to provide for. Please donate what you can to help him in the months to come, it is deeply appreciated. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and we pray for God to give him and his family the strength and support they need. We've increased the amount we're requesting to fund a new leg, since Chris's work has generously let April cover Chris's shifts to continue to support their family. "A prosthetic is much more than anticipated. We are also seeking organizations to help to achieve this goal.
Thank you,
