Christopher Gilbert’s Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Christopher Gilbert and I am a recent masters graduate from Louisiana Tech. Three weeks ago on April 14th I drowned at Lake D’Arbonne in Farmerville, Louisiana while hanging out with some friends. Luckily after many attempts to try and rescue me I was pulled out of the water and air lifted to LSU Oschner in Shreveport. I was placed on ECMO and fortunately made a miraculous recovery. I was taken off the ECMO machine on May 2nd and discharged from the hospital on May 5th. Unfortunately I was recently removed from my parents insurance once I turned 26 years old and am now forced to bear the weight of my medical expenses all alone. I’m not sure the amount I will need but anything will help. Thank you.
