Christopher Griffin Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
On March 15th, 2020, Christopher Griffin lost his life to an invisible illness, PTSD. He leaves behind a wife and son, Cate and Nate, his parents Michael and Angie Griffin, as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Funds raised will help with cremation, funeral expenses, bills, a home mortgage, car payments, school expenses for his son, and food for his family and dogs that were left behind. They need our help to get through this trying time.
Christopher was a Marine and Army Ranger veteran, who served our country and experienced things that no one should have to endure. His last station was at HAAF with the 1/75 ranger division. No amount of love or happiness could overcome the traumas he lived through, and so like many others, he succumbed to the darkness that devastates so many military families.
Please keep in mind, that no one can ever truly understand the toll PTSD can take on an individual. They may seem normal, happy, and well adjusted to life outside of war, but in truth, the hostility and bloodshed never leave. Not only are we asking that you remember Christopher with love, understanding, and kindness; but we ask that if you or someone else you know is facing similar trials and tribulations, that you reach out to the resources listed below.
Veteran suicides average a staggering 17 deaths a day.
