Christopher Howard Stroke Recovery Fund

This fundraiser is for Christopher Howard. I am doing this for his family, they were reluctant to do this, but was encouraged to do so by close friends and family. Any Funds Collected over his goal will go to help with out of pocket medical expenses, not covered by insurance. Currently, his non-covered medical expenses are over $14,779.93+

Chris had a ­­­major stroke on Friday of August 23rd, and this wasn't discovered until 5 days later. His right side was affected by the stroke and he has trouble speaking.

Chris is now in a Skilled Nursing Facility in San Diego and he is working hard to learn to live with his new limitations and overcome the ones he can’t. We celebrate each new triumph.

Many have asked what help is needed and if you know Chris you know he wouldn't want to be the center of all this attention, but he is finding that receiving help is a daily requirement in his recovery. This road is going to be a long one and even with insurance, the bills are piling up. This fund will be used to help with his current medical bills and any long term care he will need.
