Christopher Martinez kidney failure and transplant
Donation protected
Update: November 4, 2022
After almost a year of being on dialysis Christopher is beginning his transplant journey. He just got a car but it’s in need of some repairs to get him safely to Kansas City and back for transplant work ups. He is in need of donations to help with these expenses. We know it’s a lot to ask but if you are able, please donate. We appreciate anything that you are able to give. Thank you!
On Monday November 22, 2021, my nephew Christopher Martinez went into kidney failure and was immediately put on dialysis. He is a 26 year old just beginning his life with his girlfriend Claudia.
The road ahead will be extremely hard on them emotionally, physically and especially financially. If you could help them not have to worry about that part during this time please do. The dialysis, doctor visits, medicine, travel to prepare for a future transplant, gas, hotels and food take a toll and add up so quickly. Losing one person’s income in a two income family can be devastating. We would be so incredibly grateful for any help that can be given.
If anyone is interested in being tested in being a possible living donor please state so on here and we will send the information as soon as we have a transplant coordinator set up. Thank you!
