Christopher Mean Eugene Chenoweth

Early Friday morning, a loving husband, father, brother, son was unexpectedly taken too early from this life. Christopher Eugene Chenoweth was on his way home on his motorcycle when he veered off the road for an unknown reason. Local airport security found his motorcycle during their routine checks around 2:30am and then found him after investigating. Many people in his life are struggling to comprehend this loss while the world around us keeps spinning. There were no plans in place for this man that no one expected to lose - which is why I am creating this page. Chris has many surviving family members that include his wife of over two decades and 17 year old daughter who are still living at home. This money will go to his wife to ensure she has a financial cushion during her family's difficult transition as Chris was the main financial contributor in their family.
Chris never knew a stranger and impacted every life he came across. He created a “come as you are” home - he was the man who asked for so little but would take you in and give you the clothes off his back when you had no where to go. He was full of tough-love advice whether or not you asked for it. He wanted the best for his family, friends, children, etc. and taught them to always be true to themselves. He was my husband's super hero. He was larger than life and completely indestructible. He may not be with us in this physical life but his spirit lives on so damn strongly (he's stubborn like that).
I've never met a person whose impact and presence felt so strong that the world now feels empty without them. I wish I had the words to express how devastating and unexpected this loss is, but words will never do this man justice. He was the jack of all trades - a writer, structural engineer, vocalist in a metal band, motorcyclist, trained in jujitsu, wrestling, and karate, member of a local riding group, and most importantly, a family man. He loved every second he spent with his family and we will all treasure those memories and be thankful he yelled at us to put our phones down.
Rest in Paradise, Chris. And know you are so loved and missed.
