I am Chris's cousin Josh. His family wanted to do whatever we could to help his Mom deal with one of the most devastating things I can imagine as a parent, the sudden loss of a child.

Why I'm fundraising

As we try to come to terms with this tragic loss, our thoughts are with those of us who cared deeply for Chris and particularly with Chris's beloved Mom, my Auntie Shannon, who is navigating through an unfathomable grief and pain. Her heart, once filled with the joy of having Chris by her side, is now shattered into a million pieces. The pain she is experiencing is beyond words, and we are moved to act with love and support during this incredibly challenging time.

The financial struggles that come with an unexpected loss can be overwhelming, and we want to ensure that his Mom can focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries, she has very limited means.
