Christopher Thomas Jr. Medical Expenses

UPDATE:
Prayers Please
Chris Jr will be going in for surgery on Friday, December 8, 2023 to get this very rare tumor removed. The family is grateful and relieved that this is taking place sooner rather than later. Him and his family have a long road ahead of them.
Jr will need to be hospitalized for two weeks post surgery and will be required to stay one more additional week to ensure proper healing is taking place.
Him and his family will be in New York almost the entire month of December.
Any kind of help you can provide the family I know would be greatly appreciated.
Pray, Share, and Donate all of it is super helpful.
Thank you ❤️
Hello my name is Christal Martinez, and I am writing on behalf of Christopher Thomas AKA Jr.
In June, Jr. was a healthy 19-year-old young man living life to the fullest, working on his truck, hunting, riding SXS and snowmobiles, and a month later he is struggling with the simple task of walking. The toll this has taken on his body is unimaginable he struggles physically, emotionally, and mentally daily.
In early July, Jr woke up with back pain, unsure of what may have caused the pain, he kept moving forward with life. Days went on, and then he started to notice numbness in his legs, feet, and toes, which then caused him to have minimal mobility with walking. This then raised concerns. He was steadily pushed through several doctor visits, CT Scans, and MRIs. These all fell short with little to no explanation of what was causing the numbness. FINALLY, in mid-October, by chance an abnormality was seen at the bottom of a scan of his brain which was then was quickly followed up with another MRI. From this MRI a Large Intradural Lipoma (tumor) in his cervical and thoracic spinal cord was discovered. This lipoma (tumor) is pressing on his spinal cord which is the cause of the numbness in his lower extremities.
This is a very rare condition with only 15% of nervous system tumors being in the spinal cord, and his diagnosis is even more rare being only diagnosed in .4 of 100,000 people with spinal tumors.
After going through many referral and denials, he FINALLY found a neurosurgeon who is willing and can perform this very rare surgery. A consultation has been arranged for early December in New York at the Weil Cornell Brain and Spine Center. With surgery to follow ASAP.
Please help this lively young man restore his very active lifestyle. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to assist with easing the burden of his health expenses. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
