Christopher's expenses

To our family and friends. To our neighbours and community. To Christopher's class mates and school district please help. Some know, but most are unaware of what has been going on. Christopher is our 5 year old autistic son who has just gone through so much pain and a traumatic experience.
Christopher had contracted necrotizing fasciitis also known as a flesh eating disorder in his left leg.
He has lost the largest part of his calf muscle (gastrocnemius) as well as part of his hamstring.
He has had to receive a blood transfusion as well as a feeding tube to help out with his eating. He has been fitted with a wound vac to help with healing. Chistopher still has his leg and even more importantly he is alive and starting to recover. His leg is missing some parts of skin and may have to get a skin graph, time will tell. He has a semi permant IV to make sure that after he is able to leave the hospital he will still be able to receive the antibiotics. As well as while we're in the hospital he'll stop ripping out the temporary IVs. The hardest part of this experience has been that Christopher just doesn't understand why.
Why did this happen to our baby boy. It has been touch and go. Mountains and valleys through this whole process.
Christophers older brother is with his grandparents at our home, trying to go to school and remain optimistic about his little brother. Our family and friends have been saints to us. Taking care of our house and animals. (home made dinner from a friend)
They have been helping us take care of us, while we take care of Christopher.
What we are asking for is help with the medical expenses. He has been in the hospital at Doernbechers for the last 9 days. He has had 5 surgeries already with at least another 2 to go, probably more. His mother and I have been at his side day and night through this process. We know that he will have a very long road of physical therapy as well as occupational therapy ahead.
The cost at this point is unknown but we are concerned about it. We are trying to raise money to help pay these expenses.
Thank you again for any and all support. God bless.
