Christy had a stroke which was caused by a blood clot in her brain. It was out of the blue and DEVASTATING. I have to wonder if she did expect something bad to happen. Christy's days were filled with vertigo and headaches. She has a acustic neuroma between her ear canal and brain stem this is totally different and not what caused the stroke. UVA Hospital REFUSED to help get her disability, even with debilitating symptoms she he was turned down on short term disability! Left with no options she returned to work, struggling everyday now this stoke. Christy's husband just had hand surgery, her daughter left school to help and her Son is on leave to help his mom. They need help paying everything. This will be a very long road. She has left side damage. Please know anything donated is so much appreciated. God Bless you . GOD HAS GOT THIS!
Money will be used to pay expenses, travel and household bills so Christy's family can remain by her side as she deals with this new reality that has forever changed us all. I am Christy's mom and her first whisper to me when they took her ventilator out was HELP ME MOM. PLEASE DONATE!
UPDATE
Hey everyone please forgive all the mistakes I made when I wrote the message above. I was really out of it with worry for Christy. Today is April 25th. Christy continues to improve and is so lucky to have survived. She still has therapy three days a week and is at home. She still does not have use of her left arm and struggles with major sleep problems. I Thank God for her continued improvement and for all the prayers and donations. Go Bless each one of you. Any further donations are very much appreciated.
