Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) Treatment

Hello. My name is Paula Jackson, and I am raising money to help my daughter Raven fight Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Raven is a registered nurse fighting two chronic illnesses. She was diagnosed a couple of years ago with Type I diabetes at the age of 30. At the age of 32 she was diagnosed with CRPS. It started in her toe and eventually migrated to her hip. Because of all the pain, a spinal cord stimulator was inserted in her back to help control the pain. This has helped, but the pain is still unbearable most days. Being a RN, she is on her feet for 12 hour shifts, 2-3 consecutive nights. When those shifts are over, she is bedridden for 3-5 days due to the pain and the swelling of her foot. This pain also affects her blood sugar level with her diabetes. She’s constantly seeing doctors ( Pain Management, Podiatrist, Endocrinologist, and Neurologist) to try and get some pain relief. Most doctors are not familiar with CRPS, and there is no cure. There is a Dr. Katina van der Merwe at the Spero Clinic in Arkansas that’s specializes in CRPS. She has a great success rate with helping patients with their pain, and possibly going into remission. They do not accept insurance, so therefore we would have to pay for Raven’s treatment. Without this Gofundme, that is not possible. Our prayer is for Raven to get some relief and try to go back to a normal life. The required treatment can cost between $30K to $50K. Raven is single income home and  dealing with the high cost to also manage her diabetes.   Please help with any amount you can.
