Help Jeremy Heal After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
Jeremy is loved and cherished by everyone he meets.
Jeremy is one of the best Ducati specialists in the north east and has been a mentor and great friend to many within the motorcycling community. He has been a coach for young kids on 2 wheels and a mentor to anyone who may need it for his whole adult life. He will be the first person to drop everything he's doing for anyone in need of help. Jeremy was heading out for his girlfriend's Sunday afternoon cookout at her parents house on his motorcycle. He was merging onto 279 when the vehicle in front of him brake checked him when he looked behind himself to check for cars as he merged onto the Fort Pitt Bridge. As soon as he looked forward, he clipped a truck stopped right in front of the tunnels and veered into the jersey barrier on the bridge and skidded down the bridge. Jeremy was wearing full gear, and if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t be alive. He was taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital. In the ER, he slowly turned pale and yellow, begging about the pressure in his stomach; when trauma surgery came in saying he had 4 fractured ribs, a pneumothorax, 3 spinal fractures, and a grade 4 splenic rupture actively bleeding in his abdominal cavity. Jeremy underwent surgery Sunday into Monday early morning and has been in the Trauma ICU since.
Since trauma surgery took him immediately back for surgery and did not register, get consent, or investigate his insurance, it was found out that his medical insurance lapsed from opening up a new bank card account and having to close out his original.
We are asking anyone to help out everyone’s big brother as he has a long road ahead of him with hospitalization, recovery, and finances.
Thank you so much!
