SHIRLEY NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!
Shirley's head started hurting on June 10th. By the 13th, the pain was so depleting that she had to be rushed to the local hospital. There, after running several tests, she was diagnosed with Vertigo. With prescription in hand she headed home. That Friday, she spent the day in excruciating pain and nausea.
Saturday morning the the family woke to Shirley being unresponsive. 911 was called again and she was rushed to the hospital. There, the family learned that Shirley needed to undergo emergency lifesaving surgery because she had in fact suffered a massive stroke. Shirley had been misdiagnosed on Thursday when she was told she had Vertigo; in fact the medication prescribed to her aggravated her condition. Shirley spent 3 days in a coma. Little by little she started stablizing. Unfortunately, the type of insurance that Shirley has does not cover hospital costs or rehabilitation.
After 17 and a half days, Shirley is home. But she still has a long road ahead of her. It will be months before she can work again.
She needs help:
Help to cover the hospital costs.
Help to pay for her physical rehabilitaion.
Help to cover her medication.
And help with her living expenses that this loss of income brings to her.
Your support is greatly appreciated so we can get Shirley back to who she was.
