Chuck & Stacie Suida - Cancer Medical Bills

Gentle Giant...that is our "Uncle Chuck." Everyone and I mean everyone loves him, especially all the little people in his life.
Chucks wife Stacie (MY Wife-in-Law...I will explain that later) has either ran or owned a Daycare for over 35 years. She has taught, loved and help raise hundreds of other peoples children in addition to her own 3 boys and made an impact on their lives that will never be forgotten.

When "Uncle Chuck" would open the door and come visit all those little ones, it was like a herd of cattle running for lunchtime. They just adored him.
SO MANY of us just adore Chuck.
He truly is a 6 foot 8 inch Gentle Giant.

He does not like to be center of attention, usually stands in the background and takes it all in. He has ALWAYS been available for anyone that needed his help, even if it meant rubbing his own 2 nickels together or compromising his own schedule to do so.

He has a hard time accepting accolades and doesn't want a bigtodo made of him, ever! But this time, this time he has no say in that! Chuck and Stacie are the most giving, kind, loyal, salt of the earth people you could ever meet.

I entered their lives almost 28 years ago, you see I am married to Stacies EX-HUSBAND Steve. Yep, you read that correctly. Between the 4 of us we have 5 boys total. The head honcho being "Our" Tyler then came Jacob, Connor, Luke and Nathan. I'll spare the details on who belongs to who, because they pretty much belong to all of us.

The relationship between the 4 of us is unique, often times people are in disbelief when I say we celebrate Birthdays, Holidays, and even Vacation together. Stacie and Chuck are known as Aunt and Uncle.

When our boys were little they attended Stacies Daycare...THAT ONE, always blew peoples minds. They would say...
"Wait, wait just one minute...WHO, did you say is your Daycare provider?"
Yep...my husbands EX-WIFE.

Shock and awe, every, single time! But...we wouldn't have it any other way. How lucky we have been to see "Our" boys grow up together.

2 years ago, Chuck and Stacie made one of the biggest decisions of their lives. They sold their family home, bought a 5th wheel and headed out to Wyoming, to help, life long friends of theirs. They were going to split their time, 6 months out there and 6 months back home. It was a new and exciting chapter in their lives, and although that decision was scary, they had an experience of a lifetime. I don't think I saw Chuck smile so many times in picture's as I did of him in Wyoming. He was in his element, they were both living their best life....until, well, until they weren't anymore.

Just as it seemed the path they worked so very hard to be on was a dream they couldn't believe was happening...the ball dropped, and it dropped hard. They had come back home and BOTH Stacie and Chuck were not feeling well. The both of them have always been like the Energizer Bunny....always on the go, always available to help at a moments notice, rarely if ever were THEY the ones asking for help, and honestly if we didn't force the issue, this Gofundme wouldn't have even made it past the Go.

But, I am glad it did. They need our help, they need your help. In November of 2022, Stacie was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, by the grace of God it is in its early stages, and although she deals with numerous physical challenges from it, she still has tried to keep putting 1 foot in front of the other.

In addition, almost at the same time, Chuck was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung Cancer. Initially, after his first round of chemo, our hopes were looking high for him, however in September of 2023 they received the news that Chucks cancer was getting worse. As of today, January 2024, Chuck has gone through 3 rounds of chemo treatment and radiation, 6 weeks at a time, 5 days a week. He is exhausted.
We were grateful to be able to celebrate Christmas with everyone, but shortly after, both Chuck and Stacie started going downhill. Stacie dealt with her illness the best she could, she had to...Chuck needed her.

This past Monday, January 9th, 2024 Chuck was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and borderline sepsis.
Stacie works 2 jobs, but obviously Chuck can no longer work and is on disability.

Medical bills are in the thousands of dollars along with the most recent bill of the ambulance ride to the hospital.

Neither Stacie or Chuck would ever put up a Gofundme for themselves, ofcourse for someone else they would, but NEVER for themselves.

So this favorite"Wife-in-Law" of our Uncle Chuck and Aunt Stacie is doing it for them.

Any amount helps, and if you can't financially help, please share to as many people as possible. Most importantly above all, is prayer. Please pray for Chuck and Stacie. They have given to so many people over the years, now it is their time to receive.

We love you both dearly!
You are going to beat this!
Love Lorraine and ALL of your family.

Lets go Chuckaroonie...enough of this looking for attention BS...time to get better!
