Chuck Daly Forever

This week, Jersey City mourns the loss of one of its most colorful souls - that of Charles "Chuck" Daly. A man of many talents and pursuits, Chuck was also undeniably a man of the people. To know him was to love him, and he knew EVERYBODY.

 

Chuck is survived by his beloved brother Joe, who stood by him through all of life's twists and turns. As our community mourns Chuck's loss, we also want to provide for Joe, who now faces all the unpleasant "end of life" expenses that accompany the loss of a loved one.

 

Once those unsavory tasks are complete, we also want to give the multitudes who loved Chuck a chance to say goodbye to him properly, with a memorial service (targeting late April/early May) and a celebration of his life that will shake the pillars of heaven.

 

This fundraiser will support all of the above. Let's give Chuck the send-off he deserves - one filled with love, laughter, art and music - much like the man himself.
