Chuck Denny, amazing Father's fight of his life

If we've learned anything from 2020, it's that crazy things can happen at any time without notice.  Unfortunately lightning has struck the Denny family last week. Chuck was playing golf with buddies from Laguna and had an event on the 18th hole that was stroke-like and thanks to Voss, Shoaf and Quiggs quick reaction he was rushed to the hospital with bleeding on the brain.  Chuck's been transferred to Hoag Hospital and is in ICU with a drain to release pressure while the doctors try to determine where he's bleeding from.  His precious family, wife Cherese and two teenage daughters Gabrielle and Natasha are navigating the unknown and could use your prayers and support for Chuck as they walk down this path. 

Chuck has been in ICU for his seventh day now (12/7) and could be there for several more days, or weeks (we sincerely hope not), with additional hospital stay once out of ICU.  Besides the short term costs of multiple ambulance rides, extended ICU and hospital stays, there are many unforeseen long term costs expected with therapy, income loss and others. 

The Denny family is synonymous with the Laguna surf community and heritage, and with so much family tragedy of the loss of his two younger brothers (Jack and Brad) that this world needs to keep Chuck's positivity and smile around for a long time to come.  CaringBridge Updates
