Chuck Rine's fight against Stage IV Cancer

Hi All,

I’m asking you to please consider a donation for Charles “Chuck” Rine and Kristina Pitts. They have been hit with the worst news anyone could ever hear “you have stage 4 cancer”. Chuck has not been feeling himself lately and was extremely fatigued and feeling a lot of aches and pains. As we are all aging, we make excuses like I slept wrong, or I moved wrong, or we think we are tired because we had a bad day, or we are depressed. Luckily Chuck realized he had to get checked as his symptoms were becoming worse. Kris and Chuck have had some major life changes, they moved to Florida and then along came Hurricane Ian. This year was filled with so many trials and tribulations and now they face the biggest hurdle of their lives. They will face this and fight this together along with their friends and family by their side. It will not be easy, but they can do it. In order to get through this, it will take all of us, sometimes it takes a village and sometimes it takes an army. After spending a week in the hospital Chuck was re-admitted to the hospital last night (Aug 26th) with pneumonia which could impact his ability to start chemo in a few days as initially scheduled. Their long-term goal as a family is to return to Massachusetts. In order to be well enough to travel we need to eliminate the financial stress and ease the burden so that he can start this first round of chemotherapy that is scheduled to last 6 weeks and then re-evaluate the options to transfer and continue his treatment in Boston. As you all know Chuck always has a smile on his face and is always willing to lend a hand. He has put up with all our crazy antics and helped with every fundraiser and every crazy event we’ve ever come up with. He’s helped us all to raise thousands and thousands of dollars for other people, now I call upon you to help them. Kristina Pitts and Chuck Rine will use these funds for all their needs as they arise.
