Chuck wants to help Ellen and his grandkids
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chuck Bowlin. I have started a fundraiser to get things repaired or fixed on our house before I pass away.
In 2019 I was diagnosed with cirrhosis from having the inherited disease Hemochromatosis. I am now at stage 4 of the disease. A transplant is looking unlikely, and not sure how much time I have. I spend 80% of my time in bed with my legs, feet and stomach swollen.
My wife and I are both on disability. While waiting on approval for my disability, we used our savings to pay bills, mortgage, car payments.. etc. With us both on disability, after paying monthly bills and a few groceries, there is not enough left to repair or replacethings on the house. I need to get these things done so my wife doesn't worry about figuring out how to get them done. My life insurance will be enough for my funeral and for paying off the house.
The donated funds would be used to do the things listed below.
Items to be repaired or replaced.
1. Hitch and carrier ramp placed on the car for the wheelchair.
2. Remodel the bathroom tub for a walk-in shower. Me or my wife can not get into the tub.
3. Kitchen sink faucet replaced due to dripping. The bathroom sink faucet replaced due to dripping, and plumbing leaking into the basement.
4. Replace broken ceiling fans in the living room and kitchen.
5. Replace five electrical wall outlets.
6. Paint the inside of the home.
7. Replace the side-by-side refrigerator due to leaking water from underneath.
8. Replace broken tiles in kitchen floor.
9. Replace the roof on the house. The current one is 20 years old.
10. Replace gutters on the house. Current gutters are damaged due to storms.
11. Waterproof basement. Several areas leak water.
If there are any donations left, they would be used to repair and seal back deck, seal the front safety ramp, replace the broken stockade fence, replace broken security lights and tree removal.
I thank you for your time and consideration. God bless you all. Please share
