Chukwugozie Ezenwa Memorial Fund

Dear Family & Friends,

December 16, 2021 marked a terrible day in which our beloved Chukwugozie Ezenwa passed away. He was an admired husband, father, son, brother, and friend, to many.

Chukwugozie, better known as Darlington to family and friends alike, was driving home from work when he and an 18-wheeler trailer from the opposite direction, collided. His workplace was 6 hours west of Houston, in Vernon, TX. He worked as a Wind Turbine Technician for Global Wind Service.
He decided to accept this work to provide for his family, although it was a hard and risky job, and difficult to be absent from home. This was an accident to the world, but forever a tragedy to those who knew and loved him.

Darlington was a cherished husband and father of his two girls, Nneoma (2 years old) and Nonye (1 year old). He was the sole provider for his family including his sweet mother and younger sister. Darlington was one of two siblings, and the only son of his mother. It was just one month ago that he leased a beautiful home with enough space for everyone to live in, where he will now be dearly missed. The wife, mother, sister, and two baby daughters are now remaining in the house.

Darlington, at 21 years old, journeyed from Lagos, Nigeria in 2016 with his mother and younger sister to build life in Houston, Texas. He attended and graduated MIAT College of Technology in Houston, TX. He was married in 2019 to Nneka Ezenwa, and welcomed his daughters the same, and the following year. A hardworking, honest, responsible, gentle, and caring young man, Chukwugozie was just 26 years old at the time of his passing.

While we are trusting God with our all, we ask that you join us in prayers and provide as much support as possible. Financial support is especially appreciated, while we consolidate all that needs to be done on behalf of Darlington. All funds collected will go directly towards funeral expenses, and the expenses of that his two children.

Thank you, and God Bless you all.

Fundraiser for the family of Chukwugozie "Chuk" Ezenwa. Any donations are greatly appreciated, and will help the family during this difficult time of loss.
