Chula Vista-State Championship Rings

As many of you know, our Chula Vista Boys Soccer Team recently won a "C.I.F. Division 1 State Championship." Having to travel more than 1100 miles in 5 days and beating the #3, #2, and #1 seeded teams in front of their home crowds (this was the first year that the higher seed was able to host a playoff game) was a very difficult task, but this incredible team persevered and overcame all the odds.

We were the first of any sports team in school history to qualify for the C.I.F. State Playoffs.  We were also the first boys team in San Diego Section history to win a Division 1 Boys Soccer State Championship.  

It has been an incredible and memorable experience for these young men, our coaches, families and everyone involved in this historic accomplishment. 

Not only are these boys the best soccer team, they are even better young men.  It has been a pleasure and joy to coach this group of young men and I couldn't imagine  a more deserving group of guys to be rewarded with these wonderful State Championship Rings.

All of our players would love to purchase this beautiful ring as a momento for their great accomplishment, but unfortunately most of our kids and families cannot afford to purchase their rings.  Especially our seniors who have to decide between going to the Prom, Grad Night, a letterman jacket and a Championship ring. They simply can't afford to pay for all that, if anything at all.  
 
As of right now only 8 players have been able to make a down payment on their ring. I believe that it is important that all our players are able to get a ring for their incredible accomplishment.  That's why we are asking for your help. 

Our goal is set at the total cost for 23 players and 2 assistant coaches.  We are hoping to raise at least enough so that the cost of the rings are affordable for the entire team.   We really appreciate any amount of donation that you can help with, it all adds up.
