Church Camera Equipment
Donation protected
Greetings Church!
This gofundme was created on behalf of Saint Frances of Rome in Azusa, California by Jacob Israel and Richard DuMelle.
Currently the only means of bringing mass to us, the church is though live streaming platforms such as Youtube and FaceBook. Unfortunately all the equipment (cameras, computers, encoders, lighting, ect) is being borrowed from dedicated members of our church.
St. Frances is currently streaming mass twice a day, 7 days a week. Because the equipment is not owned by the church and is given back to the owners after mass, there is an extensive set up process that occurs. After talking with Fr. Richard he would like to continue streaming services every day however with the churches decline in contributions, he can not move forward on this type of purchase.
During this time the live streaming ministry is of extreme importance in keeping the digital church alive! With keeping a tradition of high quality worship experience for all, we are asking you for your support.
We are looking to purchase a couple of cameras that are rated for everyday use and can be controlled remotely. We also would like to purchase a video switcher that would permit the church to have more than one camera angle. We are estimating this would cost about $4,000. If more money is raised than what is needed to purchase these items, we will use the remaining funds to permanently install and mount the cameras so that they are out of sight when we begin attending mass together again.
If you prefer, you can also drop off a donation to the parish office at 506 North Soldano Ave. Azusa, CA 91702. Checks can be made out to St. Frances of Rome. Just write in the memo line "Live Stream."
We are looking forward to the day when we can celebrate the Eucharist together in person.
