Blanket Drive for the Homeless

The number of homeless people within Metro Phoenix over the last five years has increased dramatically, with harsher environmental conditions creating tougher living stuations for them. With hotter summers and colder winters year after year, we believe it is essential to do what we can as a community to provide seasonal assistance in the form of essential items. This winter, we will raise money to provide blankets for homeless people around the Metro Phoenix area. We will be starting with an upfront sum of money from members of Currency Cares, with the rest of the blankets being provided through this fundraiser. Our goal is 100 blankets, $500.

$5 is equal to one blanket, and those who leave a form of contact information along with their donation will receive an update when their money has been used and when the blanket is given to someone. We appreciate anyone willing to donate their hard-earned money to such an important cause!
