Ci & Fi's 2024 Everest Basecamp Charity Trek

Hi all,

Firstly, a huge thanks for taking time to check out our fundraiser for a charity close to our hearts.

In February 2024 we are travelling to Nepal and trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp, one of the world's highest civilisations.

We have 71 miles & 12 days of trekking ahead, ascending to a height of 5,545m, contending with below-freezing conditions, low oxygen levels, possible altitude sickness and little hot water or showers.

We're giving up our comforts for two weeks on what will, hopefully, be the trip of a lifetime, raising money for a well-deserving charity.

The cost for the trip/ trek is fully funded by us both, all donations will go directly to the charity.

It's safe to say there aren't many people who haven't been affected by cancer. We all know someone who has gone through, or currently going through treatment. Several close friends, family and close friends' family of ours have fought or are fighting cancer and coincidentally 2024 marks 10 years since Ciara's own (thankfully) brief encounter.

All donations big or small would make a huge difference and are greatly appreciated.
