Ciarán and Brían cross country trek

Hi everyone,

This Easter weekend, Ciarán and Brían will be walking from Dundalk to Sligo — coast to coast — to raise funds for an incredible local charity: Social Ground Force.

They’re a newly founded organisation based in Sligo that offers support around addiction and suicide — two issues that have sadly become far too common in our communities. What makes Social Ground Force stand out is their human-first approach. No ticking boxes or rigid systems — just real, compassionate support where it’s needed most.

Despite the vital work they’re doing, they’re running on very limited funding. That’s why we’re taking on this challenge: to help them continue supporting people who are struggling, and to raise awareness for the amazing work they do.
