CIEE Global Navigator Summer Abroad 2024

Hi, My name is Haylen Jimenez. I am fundraising for the opportunity to cover my tuition for CIEE summer study abroad arts program, in Tokyo, Japan. As a young child, I loved the arts, drawing, and painting. Collages were my favorite thing to do. I have boxes filled with school work, that have little sketches on them. As I've gotten older, I've moved into a love for digital art as well. Presently, I am taking digital arts, and an art photography class. This CIEE Anime & Manga Pop Culture program is an amazing opportunity to hone my skills and improve my talents. The opportunity to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan is special for me, as I have always wanted to travel there. Just like my dad, who also loves Tokyo, Japan. Just like him, I have a love for the arts, culture, language, and architecture. My hope is that this travel abroad program offers me a full immersion experience, and lifelong memories.
