Cileste adoption fund

We are trying to adopt a beautiful little girl named Cileste.  When we found out this little girl needed a home we opened up our hearts and decided to take her in.  At first, we thought she would be kinship, as she is related to Alicia; however, she is too distant of a cousin to be considered kinship.  We have been able to put $3000 down for our Arizona lawyer and as a result of our youcaring link, (which has unexpectedly shut down), we were able to raise the money for our home study.  We still need to come up with money for the Colorado lawyer and post placement visits.  Because Cileste is from Colorado we need to get paperwork filed there as well.  Below is a letter my mom wrote out to family and friends.  I, Alicia, could not have worded it any better.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hello Family and Friends,
 
Alicia and her Husband are trying to raise money to help them with the adoption of my Niece (Cileste).  Yes, my Niece which I now consider my Granddaughter.  Cileste's Mom fell on very hard times and took a turn for the worse leaving her homeless with a baby girl.  My Daughter, and her Husband, Justin, just could not see that beautiful, sweet little baby girl go in to foster care.  They have decided that raising her and keeping her a part of the family and out of the foster care system was the best, loving heart, decision they could make for Cileste, and them.   They have had custody of her since she was 14 months old and she is now 2 years old.  It has been a long, trying time for them all do to the expenses involved.  You see, my daughter is raising 7 of her own children.  They did not plan on an 8th child, but, knew from their hearts and their faith in the Lord that this was meant to be.  God Bless them.  Cileste fits in just like a true blood sibling with the other children and I, as her Grandma, can't bare the thought of her not being adopted by my daughters wonderful family.

 

If you can manage to donate any amount, it would be so much appreciated.  You can do it as an anonymous donor if you prefer.  Any amount would bring them closer to their dream of adopting Cileste.
