John Brown, or JB as his friends call him, is at University Hospital recovering from a medical emergency. His wife, Beth, and their son and daughter (4 and 3) are patiently awaiting his return to their loving home where they will soon be welcoming a third child.

JB is the best kind of father, husband, and friend, one who would do anything to serve his loved ones and his community. He was pursuing his dream of becoming a Cincinnati Police Officer and set to graduate in a couple of weeks when he was rushed to the hospital from the Academy after a strenuous training activity.

He is currently in the ICU and is working hard every day to get back to his wife and kids. John isn't one to sit still. He is a Marine through and through whose heart and physical strength will help him push every day towards health.

In addition to all that JB stands for, he is also just a Cinci kid at heart. There are few that come to mind who love the 513 as much as JB. Here is a list of some of the ways JB has been involved in HIS city:

UC Men's Rowing Club
Walk on for UC football, GO Bearcats!
Cincinnati Reds Hometown Hero
Cincinnati Bengals Fan (this is a true accomplishment, lol!)
Involved with the Veterans community, he even worked at Ivy Tech College for several years helping other Vets work through the system to receive their benefits.

Beth and JB are the most deserving of their community’s help and support. JB has a long road ahead of him to get back up to speed. Anything we can give this family to help keep them running and cover medical expenses will be so appreciated.
