Cinco was Hit by Car

Cinquecento, a little 14 pound dog, was severely injured after being hit by a car in Homestead, FL. 

We made immediate arrangements for him to be seen and treated by our neurologist, Dr. Wong in Miami at Veterinary Specialist.  The estimated cost of repairing the damage was quoted as between $10,000.00 and $12,000.00. An MRI and CT scan showed the extent of damage and proved he had a broken vertebra that was pushing on his spinal column.

Dr. Wong preformed the emergency necessary surgery to save his life. "Cinco" will need many days/weeks of recovery and rehabilitation time. His vertebra has been stabilized  as it was crushing against the spinal cord.  He has no deep pain sensation at this time., which is a test for spinal cord damage. 

We are praying for a miracle, as MIRACLES do happen everyday!
