Cindy Bishop-Jonas Memorial Fund: Children Support

On January 14, 2021, we tragically lost our beloved Cindy: a true badass boss, a thoughtful friend, generous colleague, loving mother, committed wife, exacting editor, talented writer, stunning dancer, riotous fun-haver, and all-around radiant, glorious soul. Anyone who had the good fortune of knowing Cindy knew her to be patient, thoughtful, caring, generous, wise, and open. She was truly the best among us, and we will be lost without her. Cindy: we send prayers that you travel onward with the bravery, courage, and style with which you strutted through life, and arrive at a place of peace, serenity, and joy. 

We are setting up this GoFundMe to offer support in particular to Cindy's two beloved children, Josiah and Tabitha, who have so tragically lost their mother. We welcome donations to them so that they may find some agency and autonomy in the midst of their grief. The money will be managed by Cindy's sister, Sandy Rackley, who will divide the money equally between Josiah and Tabitha by investing it in trusts in their name, from which they can draw once they turn 18.
