Cindy Lawson’s cancer journey “Team Cindy”

Hi, my name is Kim Wyatt and Cindy is one of my dearest friends. Many have reached out as to how they can help her and after speaking with Cindy and her daughter Alicia, we decided that this was the best way.

Cindy was recently diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer that is also in the lining of her stomach. This is causing fluid build up in her abdomen which she’s having to go to UAMS in Little Rock to have drained every week. She will be starting chemo on Sept 1st to try to shrink cells to be able to have surgery. She’s a warrior for God and has helped and prayed for many to be healed. Now she’s standing in need. My hope is to help her, her daughter, and the grandchildren who are all taking care of her by not only praying but to help ease the financial burden of gas back and forth to Little Rock, a lift chair to help get up and down, a cold cap, and homeopathic meds, and any other needs that may arise during this difficult time. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and if you can’t give please keep her in your prayers. She’s made many trips to Little Rock already. The family is all chipping in to make sure her needs are met. Times are already hard and I hope this go fund me will ease that burden for them.

Currently she goes to LR once a week for paracentesis then chemo starts tomorrow, Sept 1, then she will have chemo every three weeks, blood draws twice a week and ct scans, so it may be three trips a week to LR. All donations will go toward her care. This will be a long journey for Cindy and she is so appreciative to all for prayers and assistance donated on her behalf.
