Support Cindy McClanahan

Cindy has been teaching kindergarten for the past 23 years in the Asheville area. She is a respected teacher in her community and even earned teacher of the year in 2015-2016!

Cindy caught Covid-19 this past year and is suffering from long covid. The long COVID combined with other long term health issues have made it impossible for Cindy to return to the classroom. She is looking for answers and has been referred to Duke. She is required to use oxygen at the moment and her medical bills are starting to pile up.

As Cindy’s friend I can see how strong she has been during this time. She has given so much to her community, it’s time we support her.
