Cindy Montana: Medical & Travel Expenses

On April 10th 2022, Cindy was rushed to the hospital for difficulty breathing while on vacation with her family in Sunset Beach, NC.

 

While receiving emergency treatment for a collapsed lung, it was determined she had a very serious pneumonia infection which caused significant damage to both lungs. Fortunately, she's been receiving excellent medical care in South Carolina, but due to the severity of the infection and resulting damage, combined with the challenges of her existing auto-immune disorder, she was transferred to a larger hospital in Charleston, SC for further advanced treatment by a team of specialists.

 

While her condition is improving, the treatment plan is complex—she is expected to have to remain in Charleston for a significant amount of time.

 

In addition to mounting medical expenses, the family is also incurring travel and lodging costs so they can be with and support Cindy during this exceptionally difficult time.
