Cindy Osborne

Hi, my name is Dawn Winters and I am trying to

raise financial assistance for my mom throughout her cancer treatments. My mom, Cindy Osborne, was diagnosed with stage 3 endometrial cancer in March 2022. She has completed 7 weeks of daily radiation and 6 rounds of weekly chemo. The cancer has responded good from radiation and chemo so far. Next up is a very big surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Mid June…Internal radiation called brachytherapy, where they will put mom under insert needles directly into the tumor to administer high dose radiation. The course will be 4 treatments once per day. She has to lie down and be immobilized for 4 days as the needles have to stay in place for the duration of this treatment. Early July tentative, she will have surgery to remove her uterus and cancer completely. After surgery, high dose chemo and radiation again. Her oncologist still remains confident this will get her to remission. We trust her plan and His will! Moms positive attitude and smile as she patiently endures inspires me to discover my own strength ❤️

 

Mom has been working through treatments so far. Her job is physically demanding as she on her feet all day working in a warehouse. It has taken a toll on her body working and going through cancer treatments. She was hospitalized May 30-June 1 for dehydration, low potassium, magnesium and UTI infection(from the radiation) Mom has exhausted her vacation and sick days so far due to having to take so much time off work for doctors appointments and treatments. All time off work is unpaid and with the upcoming two surgeries and amount of work she will miss has caused a significant financial hardship. If you can help, donate and keep her in your prayers!
