Please help my sick sister come home to family & f

Hi, my name is Penny, and I am fund-raising for my "kid sister," Cindy (Pointon) Ashley, who was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer in September, 2021. From the time Cindy was diagnosed, she has been putting up a VERY brave, strong fight (both physically & emotionally), and kept up a great morale despite frequent & intense pain to multiple areas of her body; this includes loss of appetite, along with profuse mouth (& scalp) sores from her chemotherapy that have largely prevented her from eating adequately (even when she is hungry); severe weight loss (is now at 95 lb); marked hair loss; weakness, and diminished strength & endurance. Despite all of these trials, my sister has continued to work for her long-term real estate employer in the Minneapolis, MN, area. However, due to her severe intolerance to a new/changed chemotherapy regimen (which also did not improve her cancer status) her strength & endurance suffered serious setbacks that resulted in the need for her to apply for Disability benefits, for which she was immediately approved, but now must endure the obligatory five month waiting period before she can collect. In the interim, she has become unable to work full-time, and this has really dented her finances, and made it difficult for her to meet her financial obligations, which include the drugs and copays that are greater than $1,000 per month, not including her normal living expenses. Cindy (much to her family's delight & approval) now plans to move from Minnesota, where she has lived for many decades, back to her hometown of La Porte, IN, to be near to family & lifelong friends. My sister hopes to be able to be back home by July, this summer at the latest. We who love her hope she can come even sooner!

I am humbly asking for, on Cindy's behalf, any financial assistance you are able to donate toward her continued & very costly health care expenses, living expenses, bills, and her future moving expenses (for moving from Minnesota to Indiana).
