A Mother’s Love
A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain. It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain. It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may. For nothing can destroy it or take that love away. It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking. And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking. It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns. And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems. It is far beyond defining it defies all explanation. And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation. A many splendored miracle man cannot understand. And another wondrous evidence of God’s tender guiding hand.

My brother and I would like to ask for your help. We have opened a bank account at Greenbelt Bank & Trust and a “GoFundMe” webpage in efforts to raise money for our mother’s upcoming kidney/pancreas transplant and medical expenses. Our mother was diagnosed with diabetes at 14 months old. This disease has created a lot of physical, emotional, and financial hardships for our family. On February 15th, 2014 our mother suffered a life threatening heart attack and underwent a risky quadruple bypass open heart surgery. Over these past couple of years her body has miraculously recovered. She is now healthy enough to undergo a kidney/pancreas transplant. Currently, her kidneys are only functioning at 18 percent. She is on the brink of requiring routine dialysis. Doctors have told her the transplants would be a positive quality life change. Frequent testing required for this upcoming transplant has created tremendous financial strain. High deductibles, co-pays, out-of-pocket costs, and travel expenses have created a mountain of unpaid debt with no end in sight. Our mother is a very strong and positive person. Unselfish with her love and compassion for others. We know our mother as well as the rest of our family would greatly appreciate any assistance with our fundraising goals.
