Some of you are aware that Cindy Dudgeon, our beloved Insideout acupuncturist has been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Mast Cell Activation Syndrome is an autoimmune disease that results in an excessive number of mast cells in your body. These mast cells normally protect you from disease and aid in wound healing, but in Cindy's case, they are attacking every aspect of her body, causing triggers like anaphylaxis, hypertension, vascular instability and many other debilitating symptoms for her to live normally. These past two years she has struggled to keep her head up high, when conventional medicine and traditional treatment for this condition has failed her. As her Mast Cell Activation Sydrome has aggressively progressed over the past year, she has been limited only to the two foods her body tolerates, grass-fed beef and white rice. Suffering now from severe vitamin deficiencies, infections, bone loss and almost seizure-like episodes, she needs our prayers and support now more than ever.
