DISCLAIMER: MY MOM DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS AND IM HOPING TO SURPRISE HER WITH WHATEVER WE RAISE! Hi everyone, my name is Molly Magee and I started this fundraiser for my mom Cindy Magee. The past two years have been really hard for my family. First, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a mastectomy, and went through chemo and radiation. Thankfully she made it through and is now in remission! Then, a year after that my dad, Kevin Magee, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. He had surgery and went through chemo and radiation as well. Unfortunately, my dad was not so lucky and within 6 months of his diagnosis the cancer had spread and he died on December 13, 2020. The main reason I’m starting this fundraiser is because the house that we’re renting has sold and we need to move by March 1st, 2021. It’s been a struggle to find places within our budget in a town that my parents have called home for 25 years. I’m hoping that any money I can raise will help my mom find a place that she loves to live! I’m starting the goal lower in the hopes that we can raise it as we go along!!
