I have been made aware that we will not be continuing distant learning with Learning and Fun. As such, starting June 29th 2020, I will be filing for unemployment. Due to Covid-19 and the uncertainty it’s providing, I was also told that my job was not guaranteed when the school reopens.
As I navigate through the coming weeks with this news, I decided to do something now and prepare an opportunity that would give parents, students, and myself a chance to make the most out of these unfortunate times.
I have had the upmost privilege of providing distant learning for Learning and Fun within the last 3 months. During that time, I was able to garnish an understanding of what ways of teaching worked during the virtual environment and what ways did not. Therefore, for the month of July, I would like to provide a different type of opportunity that provides virtual learning, as well as learning outside.
Everyone will be able to participate and there is not fixed rate to join. Any donation, not matter how big or small, is welcomed.
