Cirigliano Families Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On Friday May 12th, my little brother Nico was involved in a horrific accident while out with friends enjoying a beautiful day. As a result, he is currently at Bayonet Point and in critical condition. His injuries are extensive and the recovery time is unknown. It is one day at a time. The trauma team has been amazing to Nico and our family. It is a miracle that he is still here fighting for his life. The EMS that arrived on scene most certainly saved him in those first few moments. If not for his devoted friends who called my mom and 911, he would not be here. The road to recovery will be a marathon, not a sprint. At this point we are relying on prayer, a great medical team, and the ability to be by Nico's side so he knows that he is not alone, and will make it though this. Many of you may know our family because of my mom "Mrs. Cirigliano" and the impact she has had on our community. For over 18 years she has taught elementary and middle school students here in Trinity, and has dedicated her life to educating. She is amazing, selfless, and dedicated to her classroom "kids". Thankfully, a dear friend is a substitute teacher and has stepped up to care for her classes for the remainder for the year. My dad, with no PTO, didn't even blink to be by Nico's side, as family has always come first. You never expect your life to abruptly change in a split second. You certainly never expect the family life you knew just 2 days ago to forever be changed. God has a plan and we truly believe Nico's work here on Earth is not done. Nothing else matters right now. We as a family want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, support and love. We will keep you posted as we make it through each day. Know that your prayers are our greatest strength! Unimaginable gratitude, Julia
