Cirugía inminente para Inés

Mi amada madre, Inés Vega de Oropeza, se ha mantenido como un roble a sus 89 años, llena de vida y optimismo aún después del fallecimiento de mi padre hace 5 años, y con renovada energía ahora que tiene la dicha de disfrutar de su primera y única nieta.

Sin embargo en fecha reciente le ha tocado enfrentarse, de forma imprevista, con una condición médica que requiere de cirugía, decisión que ha sido necesario tomar a pesar de los riesgos que esto implica a su edad.

Mi mamá vive en Venezuela y no tiene seguro médico. Sus hijos nos hemos organizado para hacerle frente a esto, pero la cirugía no puede esperar y vemos necesario acudir a la buena voluntad de todos ustedes: amigos, familiares y personas de buena fe, para ayudar a completar los fondos necesarios.

My beloved mother, Inés Vega de Oropeza, has remained strong as an oak in her 89 years, full of life and optimism even after the passing of my father 5 years ago, and now with renewed energy since she’s had the blessing of enjoying her first and only grandchild.

However in recent days she has confronted a most unexpected medical condition that requires surgery, a decisión that has become unavoidable in spite of the risks it entails at her age.

My mom lives in Venezuela and has no medical insurance. Her sons and daughters have gotten organized to deal with this eventuality, but the surgery cannot wait and we find it necessary to reach out and appeal to all our dear friends and family, as well as all people of good faith out there, in order to complete the funds needed for the operation.
