City Hospice

City Hospice is a charity based in Cardiff that provides medical and nursing care for patients facing life limiting illnesses, including end of life care. It is a charity close to my heart and I have witnessed first-hand the expert medical care and endless support that City Hospice can provide to both patients and family members. I’m hoping that your donation will enable them to continue to support families in Cardiff through difficult times.

 

So onto the challenge you’re all donating towards…

 

I’ve decided to enter the Rottnest Channel Swim on the 22nd February 2025- a 19.7km ocean swim from Perth to Rottnest Island (for the brits wondering - yes there are sharks…). I will be completing this swim with a group of friends who have provided endless support to me whilst in Australia - Alex, Tahlia and Aimee. None of us are particularly talented swimmers so we would appreciate any spare change you can donate towards our gruelling challenge to help us reach our target of (£2000??) for City Hospice. Who knows, if we get eaten by sharks maybe we will raise hundreds of thousands!!
